Turmoil casts you as an oil tycoon during the 19th century boom. Drill for crude, sell it for profit, and upgrade rigs to outpace rivals. As your wealth grows the town expands around you. Buy land at auctions stake claims and manipulate stock markets to control the settlement. Each session is a single year race against procedurally generated challenges and competing entrepreneurs. The game leans into backroom politics and resource timing as much as drilling efficiency. Negotiate deals in the saloon use dowsers or scanners to locate oil and leverage natural gas to inflate prices. Steam users get achievements trading cards and cloud saves. Developed by Gamious after a year in Early Access it adds to their track record of quirky management games. The Switch and mobile ports let you drill on the go but the core grind of balancing risk and greed remains rooted in desktop play.

Storyline

Turmoil is a simulation game set during the 19th century oil rush in North America. Get a taste of the rush and rivalry of the time as you earn your way to become a successful oil entrepreneur. As you make money digging up and selling oil, the town will grow along with you. Acquire more town shares than your competitors in a bid to become the new mayor. History Turmoil was developed by Gamious and will be released on June 2nd after a year in Steam Early Access. After releasing several critically acclaimed games, Turmoil is Gamious' most ambitious project to date.
