Turmoil is a fast-paced shooter where you pilot a spacecraft through a maze of seven tunnels linked by a central vertical shaft. Enemies swarm from both sides, and your goal is to eliminate as many as possible by firing up or down the shaft. The catch? You can't linger in one tunnel too long. After a few seconds, an invincible enemy appears, forcing you to move or risk instant destruction. The balance between aggressive shooting and constant repositioning creates relentless tension. This 1982 relic stands out for its clever twist on 1980s shooter mechanics. Unlike linear shooters, Turmoil forces you to juggle movement and targeting under pressure.
