TV Show King is a multiplayer trivia game for up to four players using customizable Miis. Competitors answer multiple choice questions across three to nine rounds, with topics spanning geography, pop culture, and general knowledge. Each round gives players a set time to select answers using their Wii Remote, and the fastest correct responses earn more cash. After every round a wheel spins to add risk or reward, offering bonuses or penalties. The top two scorers face off in a Final Duel where they battle point by point, with the first to five points claiming victory and a share of the prize pool. A solo mode called Quiz Attack offers shorter matches for single players. The game leans into its broad question pool of 3000 entries, including region specific trivia for added variety. The Mii-based avatars and competitive timing mechanics keep matches lively, while the Final Duel’s close scoring format adds tension. Though the PS3 and Wii versions feel dated by today’s standards the straightforward quiz format remains accessible for quick couch co-op sessions. The mix of luck and skill from the spinning wheel and speed answering adds layers beyond basic trivia.
