"If you're looking for a mobile puzzle game worthy of your time, then Umiro is where you should turn. It's short, with admittedly low replay value, but hey—it's a mobile game, primarily. It's not the place to look for a fully-fledged, complex plot, but it does the job on the puzzle front, and is great at keeping you engaged for however long you have to play it."

Umfend follows a chain of unsettling events triggered by a shattered glass sphere in 1996, which unleashes a fractured dimension that severs a bond with someone close. Ten years later the past returns to pursue you. Played as a first-person adventure the game emphasizes environmental storytelling and quiet exploration. Puzzles and scattered audio logs slowly reveal a narrative centered on fractured timelines and emotional consequences. The horror leans into psychological tension rather than jump scares with distorted visuals and ambient sound design amplifying the unease. The game’s most striking element is its abstract approach to time and memory. Community feedback highlights its divisive atmosphere which some call haunting and others find too sparse. Originally released in 2018 it now runs on PS5 through backward compatibility. While combat and action elements are absent the focus on narrative and mood creates a slow-building experience. Best suited for players who prioritize story over traditional gameplay mechanics.
