Umihara Kawase Shun tasks you with navigating tight spaces using a fishing rod as a grappling hook. Each level forces you to think through physics-based puzzles to reach the exit. You'll swing, bounce, and chain moves using the rod to latch onto ledges, create momentum, and manipulate the environment. The challenge lies in timing and spatial awareness as you avoid obstacles and reach tricky areas. The game's clever use of physics mechanics was ahead of its 1997 release. Though lesser known, it built on its predecessor's core ideas with tighter level design and more varied challenges. A niche title from Jackpot, it remains a standout for puzzle fans who enjoy thinking through environmental interactions. Xing Entertainment's PlayStation port preserved the original's precision and difficulty.
