Undead & Beyond casts you as Dr Beyond a scientist trying to flee a crumbling lab by weaponizing his own failed experiments. You swing between direct combat and managing a growing horde of zombies to clear paths through the facility. Each level requires balancing firepower and undead logistics as you unlock new creature types and upgrades. The controls are straightforward but the timing demands quick reflexes especially when fending off security forces. The game stands out for its chaotic mix of action and resource management. While the single player campaign is tight at five levels it leans into replayability by encouraging different zombie loadouts and tactics. Community feedback is sparse but the lone cooperative rating hints at a niche audience enjoying its over-the-top gore and arcadey difficulty. The Switch port makes it a decent coffee break title though the pixel art style might not appeal to everyone.
