Undying Memoir is a platformer built around trial and persistence. You control Mokou, a character bound to a cycle of death and rebirth, as she navigates shifting environments filled with hazards and puzzles. Her body is fragile but her will is not, each time she fails, she resets, letting you tweak strategies until you succeed. Progress unlocks fragments of a story about her forgotten past, told through sparse but evocative dialogue with a companion character who guides her through a surreal world. The game thrives on its tight, punishing platforming and the way its narrative unfolds in pieces. While it draws heavily from Touhou Project lore, it doesn’t assume prior knowledge, letting the mystery of Mokou’s journey unfold naturally. Storyline

900 years have passed since that fated day that changed Mokou forever. It's been so long, she can't even remember anymore. Having crossed into a strange land of fantasy without realising it, she finally meets someone who doesn't try to avoid her - Keine, a half-youkai historian. With her ability to supernaturally learn the past, she takes Mokou on a journey to rediscover it. But although Mokou can never die, her body still has mortal fragility, and is often consumed by her own fiery power. Not to matter; able to regenerate from nothing, she can always keep trying until she gets it right.
