You’re alone on a drifting space station. A strange signal pulses through the walls. Your job is to track it down. Unknown Signal: Invasion leans into tight, methodical exploration. You’ll scan rooms for clues, piece together fragmented logs, and navigate systems that don’t want to give up their secrets. The pace is deliberate, more puzzle than action, with an emphasis on environmental storytelling. Every flickering light or static-filled transmission feels like a breadcrumb leading somewhere ominous. The game’s strength is its atmosphere. Confined corridors and malfunctioning tech create a constant sense of unease. While not graphically flashy, the design uses lighting and sound to build tension. Daniel Li’s previous work shows in the careful pacing and subtle worldbuilding. Works best for those who enjoy slow-burn mysteries with a sci-fi twist. It doesn’t rely on jump scares or big set pieces, just a steady push toward the unknown. The single-player campaign takes about six hours to complete.
