URG is a side-scrolling shooter that lets you play solo or team up with three friends. You blast hordes of enemies across levels filled with power-ups and traps. The controls are tight and responsive letting you dodge roll and fire in tight corridors or wide-open zones. Each run feels chaotic yet rewarding as you chain together kills and upgrade your loadout mid-level. The game mixes retro pixel art with smooth 3D environments creating a visual style that feels fresh but nostalgic. Multiplayer matches are particularly fun with four players covering each other while dealing massive damage. Since launching in 2021 it's stayed a favorite for players wanting fast-paced action without long sessions. The PC version runs well on most systems making it easy to jump into whenever the mood strikes.
