About

Uwasa no Midori-kun!! Natsu Iro Striker follows Yamate Midori, a tomboyish 15-year-old who discovers soccer after meeting a holidaying boy named Hino Tsukasa. The story splits time between narrative scenes and soccer mini-games as Midori trains to beat Tsukasa after he betrays her trust. Players navigate dialogue choices that shape relationships while managing soccer strategies during matches. The dual focus on character drama and sports mechanics creates a rhythm that alternates between slow conversations and quick-time gameplay. The game stands out for blending romantic coming-of-age themes with competitive sports elements in a way that feels cohesive. While the soccer system is straightforward, the emotional beats of Midori’s journey to an all-boys school add depth. Released in 2007 for Nintendo DS, it caters to fans of manga adaptations with its visual novel format and school rivalry premise. The story’s mix of personal growth and athletic ambition gives it a niche charm that separates it from typical sports titles.
