UzeMaze is a puzzle arcade game built around a simple but tricky concept. You navigate a maze by setting directional paths that keep moving until they hit a wall. The goal is to color every black tile in the grid using precise sequences of movement. Each decision affects future paths so you have to plan several steps ahead. The single player mode challenges you to clear mazes with increasing complexity. This port brings a game originally made for the Commander X16 retro computer to the Uzebox platform. Developer Jimmy Dansbo polished the core mechanics while keeping the minimalist look. Since its March 2023 release it has drawn praise from retro gaming circles for its clever level design. The lack of time pressure lets you focus purely on solving spatial puzzles. With no power ups or special abilities it’s all about mastering the movement logic.
