Valhalla and the Lord of Infinity casts you as a deposed heir on a quest to reclaim a fractured kingdom. This 1994 Amiga adventure uses a top-down perspective with joystick navigation and a row of action icons. Press fire near objects to inspect, grab, or interact using the on-screen tools. Characters pop up for dialogue that’s heavy on scripted responses. Every move triggers spoken lines like “I can’t do that” or “There’s nothing here” as your character narrates their own stumbles. The game’s most peculiar feature is its speech implementation. Each level loads a separate disk full of audio cues with no mid-game swapping. Hidden floor traps and included maps add mechanical depth but feel secondary to the constant voiceover. Developed by Vulcan Software, it leans into 90s adventure tropes with clunky but deliberate design. The talking heads and disk-based audio quirks make it a curiosity for retro Amiga fans.
