Pick a fighter and clash in this late '97 arcade brawler. Vampire Savior adds more moves, smoother animation, and three new baddies to the formula from its predecessor. Play as classic returning demons or the fresh faces summoned to the Majigen realm. Each character has distinct attack styles and super moves that let you blow up the colorful, over-the-top stages. Fight through a campy story mode or challenge friends in head-to-head matches. The game’s reputation as a technical showcase for its time still holds up. With 12 fighters and deep combo systems, it became a staple in arcades. Its balance of speed and strategy keeps matches tight, even decades later. Longtime fans praise the refined mechanics and over-the-top presentation. Though it never got a proper home release, it remains a cult favorite among fighting game purists.
Jedah, one of the high nobles of Makai, is resurrected after a premature death long ago. Seeing the state of the demon world, he decides that the only way to save the world is to recreate it. To this end, he conjures a dimension known as Majigen, to which he summons worthy souls to feed his new world. As luck would have it, those souls belong to the characters from the first two games, in addition to three newcomers.
