Veneficium is a tense survival-horror game where you play as Abigail, a witch navigating a cursed forest to find her missing grandmother. Every step matters as you avoid demons that hunt you through dense woods. Use stealth to stay hidden behind trees or bushes and cast spells made from collected ingredients to obscure your presence. The environment reacts to your movements with sudden noises and flickering lights making it easy to trigger a chase. You have limited resources and must manage fear as much as danger. The game stands out for its oppressive atmosphere thick fog and creaking trees create constant unease. Players report the sound design alone raises tension with unpredictable whispers and heavy breaths. While some note the spell system feels basic the blend of environmental hazards and close calls with enemies keeps the pace tight. Storyline
