Vindicators Part II is a co-op arcade shooter that follows the same grid-based formula as its 1982 predecessor. Players team up to fight through wave after wave of enemies, collecting power-ups and navigating identical levels to the original. The game keeps the same pixelated visuals, sound effects, and music but swaps the robotic voice for a more natural-sounding male narrator. A few new temporary tank upgrades add slight variety, though most mechanics remain unchanged from the first game. This version exists as a conversion kit for Gauntlet cabinets, with only around 400 units produced. Its lack of major changes hasn’t deterred fans, retro arcade enthusiasts appreciate the authenticity and the challenge of tracking down one of the few surviving copies. The multiplayer mode and straightforward shooting action keep it lively, even if it offers little beyond what came before.
