"Stasis is a point-and-click adventure that fans of science fiction horror will want to check out, especially if Stasis: Bone Totem was enjoyed. These games can be played in any order, but Stasis’ focused setting and shorter length make it the more appealing place to start. It will shock in most places, but its twisted plot will keep everyone engaged to the end. It has been adapted well for Nintendo Switch, despite some minor issues. Just make sure to go into Stasis for the story before anything else and prepare to think about it for a while afterwards."

About

In Vivid/Stasis, you follow Saturday as she hunts for her vanished sister, Tsuki, whose disappearance on July 21, 2022, triggers a chain of eerie revelations. Playing as Saturday, you navigate a mix of timing-based challenges and narrative choices across multiple chapters. Each decision and rhythm-driven action pushes the story forward, figuring out clues about a shadowy organization tied to Tsuki’s fate. The gameplay weaves musical elements into investigative mechanics, requiring precision to decode hidden truths. What sets this apart is how it marries pulse-pounding rhythm segments with a slow-burn mystery. The story leans into psychological tension, with music and sound design amplifying the unease as Saturday’s quest grows more desperate. While still unproven, early demos from Hajimeli’s team show strong potential for blending atmosphere and interactivity. With a July 2025 release, it’s shaping up as a standout pick for players who enjoy stories where every beat matters.
