About

VoidGate is a dungeon crawler with real-time combat and random levels. Fight through procedurally generated labyrinths using melee, ranged, or magic attacks. Permadeath raises the stakes while survival mechanics track resources and health. No class system lets you build your character by choosing attributes, skills, and stats freely. Cooperative play allows teaming up with friends for shared challenges and loot. The game's emphasis on player choice stands out. Every build feels personal without predefined classes. Version 5 Games released it in 2022 with co-op support for local and online play. While drawing comparisons to Diablo the random levels and skill customization create a distinct identity. Community feedback highlights the balance between difficulty and reward though some note the learning curve for new players.

Storyline

They have demanded our exile; not to another land but to another world completely. We could fight and conquer, a war we could win easily. But it is not our way. Instead we find a new home, to do this we must enter into the Void. One of our volunteers will gain immortality, and we will have a way to create a new home using the magic of the Void.
