Voyager I drops you into the labyrinth of a hostile robot warship. Navigate shifting corridors and rooms using clunky 3D wireframe graphics while dodging automated turrets that auto-target anything moving. Your options: sabotage energy cores to cripple the ship or systematically eliminate every mechanical threat. Controls feel awkward by modern standards but mirror the tense, claustrophobic pacing of a trapped infiltrator. Launched in late 1981, it's one of the earliest examples of pseudo-3D shooter design. While graphics are primitive, the maze logic and dual victory conditions add replay value. Two-player co-op lets allies split objectives or cover each other during firefights, a rarity for its era. Retrospective ratings on DOS and Apple II ports average around 3.5/5, praising its bold concept but noting stiff execution.
Of all spaceships ever built, Voyager has been the most destructive known to man. The spacecraft was created by a race of warrior robots for the sole purpose of galactic conquest. You are the sole survivor of an assault force that managed to fight its way into the interior of the Voyager. Your mission is to destroy all the robots on the ship, or, failing that, to destroy the ship itself.
