WALL-E 2 was supposed to follow up the original movie tie-in on the Nintendo DS before Helixe shut down in late 2008. This unfinished sequel planned to include a local co-op mode where players could choose from several characters seen in the film. THQ cancelled development right before the project could go anywhere, leaving us with almost no information about the actual story or specific mechanics beyond that multiplayer setup. The only real hook for this title is its status as a lost piece of gaming history rather than any gameplay footage or community ratings. Since it never shipped, you cannot find player scores or detailed reviews to gauge how it might have played out. What remains is just the fact that two people could have teamed up in a shared screen adventure based on the animated world. It stands as a curious footnote about what could have been if the studio had stayed open a few months longer.
