About

Wallace and Gromit in Project Zoo casts you as Gromit, leaping through zoo enclosures to free baby animals trapped by a penguin named Feathers. The gameplay mixes platforming challenges with quirky problem solving, using tools like a Porridge Gun and Banana Launcher to bypass obstacles. Wallace offers guidance from a remote location while Gromit performs parkour-style moves like backflips and breakdancing to navigate levels. Each area introduces new contraptions and environmental puzzles that blend physical jumps with creative thinking. The game leans into Aardman Animations' signature humor and charm, with Peter Sallis reprising his role as Wallace’s voice. Though it received mixed reviews for uneven pacing and technical limitations on older consoles, fans praise its inventive level design and affectionate take on the characters. Released in 2003 as the duo’s first console adventure, it remains a niche pick for those nostalgic for early 2000s platformers.

Storyline

The diabolical penguin, Feathers, has imprisoned all the baby animals in a zoo, and it's up to Wallace and Gromit to rescue them. Charge through the gates as the resourceful and adventurous Gromit, and receive helpful hints from Wallace. This indomitable duo has an array of new inventions such as the Porridge Gun and the Banana Launcher, plus interesting contraptions built by Wallace himself. Gromit's break dancing, backflips, and sneaking moves will also prove valuable in your adventure.
