Wavy Navy is a high seas shooter where you pilot a combat ship battling waves of enemy aircraft. Instead of aliens you face planes helicopters and rockets descending through the skies. The action is fast and frantic with simple controls that let you focus on dodging and firing. Each level ramps up the chaos as more enemies swarm the screen testing your reflexes and aiming. Released in 1983 it brought arcade style chaos to home computers like the Apple II and Commodore 64. While not impressive by todays standards its tight gameplay and multiplayer mode kept it popular among retro fans. Some players still praise its straightforward fun and chaotic action even if the graphics feel dated now.
