As Ares a young warrior you search for Li Fu a girl with unique abilities to defend your homeland. Gameplay involves traveling across the world encountering enemies and bosses in turn-based battles. The camera angles and action flow during fights resemble classic Japanese RPGs though commands are executed in a traditional turn-based format. The game’s anime-inspired visuals and narrative style set it apart from many Chinese RPGs that draw from historical settings. Unlike other entries in the series it focuses purely on party-based adventuring without strategy elements.
