World Racing 2 expands on its predecessor by letting you drive 90 cars from 17 brands including Alfa Romeo and Morgan. A 120-race career mode takes you to tracks in Italy Florida and other global locations where you earn Speedbucks to upgrade vehicles and tweak performance. Single player and multiplayer options let you test skills against AI or live opponents. The game emphasizes realism with oncoming traffic dynamic damage modeling and physics that respond to every collision. Customization goes beyond tuning with vinyl wraps alloy wheels and other visual upgrades. The 2005 release ran on older hardware making it accessible for its time. While not a technical marvel by modern standards the focus on car variety and career progression kept players engaged. Over 90 vehicles and 17 manufacturers were a big step up from the first game's all-Mercedes lineup.
