World War V: Last Call is a chaotic indie shooter where you fight to stop an authoritarian empire using strategic firepower and environmental destruction. Charming voxel and pixel visuals keep things light but the combat is tough and methodical. Blast through destructible terrain to find hidden weapons and ammo tackle uniquely designed bosses and adapt to shifting battlefield layouts. The single player campaign moves quickly with each level offering fresh challenges without overwhelming variety. It balances humor and difficulty well. Terrain breaking adds tactical depth while bosses with absurd names and attack patterns keep gameplay varied. Though short the games tight pacing and rewarding gunplay leave a strong impression, especially if you’re prepared to die a lot and laugh through it.
