Wrath of Earth is a DOS-era first-person shooter where survival hinges on managing scarce resources and environmental hazards. As Commander Kreigson on a desolate alien world, you rely on a power-hungry exosuit that recharges only under light sources. Enemies swarm in waves, forcing you to dart between shadows to heal while fending off overwhelming odds. Combat emphasizes positioning and timing over brute force, with limited ammo and weak weapons pushing you to prioritize defense over offense. The game’s standout mechanic ties lighting conditions directly to your ability to stay alive. Players quickly learn to balance exposure risks with the need to replenish energy, creating tense decisions about when to fight and when to flee. Though its 1995 release date shows in the graphics, the core loop of evasion and calculated strikes holds up for fans of tactical shooters. The alien invasion premise is straightforward but effective, letting gameplay mechanics drive the tension without overcomplicating the story.
After centuries of Galactic War the Galaxy finally came to it's senses and each world decided that earth should be the center for the peace keeping force "The United Worlds". Many colonized worlds lay in the far reaches of the galaxy. Aragon was one such planet. The last message from Aragon was received two standard days ago which means that due to the delay in cross-galaxy communications the planet has been alone for five years! As commander Kreigson of the small fleet recon ship "Wrath" you have been instructed to land with caution to assess the situation and restore comunication with earth. Fitted with the latest automated Bio-Tech suit you land and are immediatly aware that whatever took control of Aragon was not of this galaxy.
