You play as one of the X-Men in a fast-paced sidescrolling brawler. Choose Cyclops or Wolverine to start then unlock Storm Iceman Rogue Nightcrawler and Psylocke as you progress. Each character has distinct moves and abilities to mix into combo-heavy fights against hordes of enemies. Three levels of escalating chaos feature tight controls and simple but punchy visuals. The roster depth and incremental unlocking keep the action fresh. While the Game Gear's hardware limits polish it remains a solid entry in 90s superhero brawlers. Fans of straightforward platform combat will appreciate the straightforward approach and growing cast of mutants.
