Xeno Crisis casts you as a marine battling through a collapsing research facility overrun by aliens. Fight through seven randomly generated zones with a partner or solo, using cover, firepower, and scavenged weapons to survive waves of enemies. Collect dog-tags from fallen foes to upgrade gear between stages and hunt for rare weapons that tip battles in your favor. The layout of each area changes every run forcing you to adapt tactics on the fly. The game spans a wild mix of platforms from modern systems to retro hardware like the Dreamcast and Neo Geo. Co-op play adds tension as you and a friend share limited resources while navigating the chaos. Since release in late 2019 it’s earned a cult following for its chaotic action and retro-inspired design. The randomly generated maps keep replays fresh even as you chase higher scores and better loot.
