Xenophobe throws you into a war against alien infestations. Each level tasks you with clearing every hostiler before time runs out, with some stages spanning multiple floors. Use elevators or drop through holes to navigate between levels, picking up better weapons and power-ups along the way. The clock is always ticking, so you'll need to balance speed with firepower to survive. The game supports co-op play for two players on split-screen, making it easier to cover all floors at once. Released in 1987, it ran on arcades and a range of home systems, including Commodore 64 and Atari machines. While its visuals are dated, the frantic gameplay and shared-screen mode keep it a cult favorite for retro shooter fans.
Starbases, moons, ships, and space cities are infested with aliens, and the players have to kill the aliens before each is completely overrun.
