XIII: Lost Identity

You play as a man with no memory and a dangerous reputation. A tattoo reading XIII is the only clue to your past but authorities want you for a presidential assassination you can’t recall. Chased by unknown foes you must piece together your identity through a web of conspiracies and hidden truths. The game uses point-and-click exploration timed challenges and logic puzzles all while racing against threats that close in with every choice. The story twists as much as its protagonist’s fractured past. Each chapter reveals new lives lived and secrets buried keeping momentum high even as you solve environmental riddles. Though released in 2011 its narrative and pacing still work well on PC Mac and mobile devices. Players who stick with its fast-moving plot often finish with more questions than answers which might just be the point.

Storyline

A man suffering from amnesia is found washed up on a beach by an elderly couple. He has to unravel who he is and where he has come from, the only clue to his identity being the numerals “XIII” tattooed on his neck.
