You choose which dice to keep and which to reroll across three throws per round. This version brings the classic board game logic straight to the Atari 2600 screen for a single player session. Russell Babylon adapted the rules well for this older console. The game feels straightforward without needing complex controls or menus. Most players find the scoring system easy to follow once they see how the different combinations add up. It captures the tension of trying to get that Yahtzee while dealing with limited rolls each turn. The simplicity makes it quick to start and stop whenever you want.
