Yo-Kai Watch Blasters: White Dog Squad is an action RPG where players take direct control of Yo-kai in real-time battles against massive bosses. Up to four friends can join forces locally or online to tackle missions and execute synchronized Soultimate Moves. The game splits into two versions, White Dog Squad and Red Cat Corps, each offering exclusive Yo-kai, missions, and enemies. Transferring save data from earlier Yo-Kai Watch 2 titles unlocks special characters, adding extra incentive for series veterans. The real-time combat and co-op mechanics set this entry apart, though the 3DS hardware keeps visuals straightforward. Over 400 Yo-kai populate the roster, with new entries available through trading between the two versions. Series veterans can import save data from Yo-Kai Watch 2 titles to unlock special characters.
