Arrange, match and clear cookies in this puzzle game where timing matters. You control a grid that fills with randomly placed treats. Slide them into rows or columns of three or more matching types to make them vanish. Each level challenges you to empty the board before it overflows. The action ramps up as cookies drop faster and the grid reshapes. Solo or split-screen play lets you tackle the chaos alone or team up for double the frantic sorting. The whimsical setup of Mario and Yoshi battling a rogue cookie factory adds charm to the frantic gameplay. Split-screen modes on older systems let two players share a TV without needing separate screens. While not as widely remembered as other 90s puzzlers, its blend of speed and strategy earned it a cult following. The simplicity of mechanics paired with escalating difficulty keeps things tense even after decades. Available on multiple Nintendo platforms for quick bursts of sugary stress.
In the sequel to the Yoshi title, Mario and Yoshi have set aside their adventures to live the simple life of cookie-factory workers... but all is not well in their factory. The ovens have gone crazy and are firing out baked goods and cookies at a Yoshi going to town on some home baked cookies rate similar to that of most high end machine guns. Mario and Yoshi have got a job on their hands now, sort and stack all the cookies and treats quickly before the piles get too high.
