Yoshi's Island PC is a fan-created 2D platformer developed by 4-Eyes and released in December 2000. It follows the classic side-scrolling formula with color-based puzzle solving and enemy-hatching mechanics. Players guide a dinosaur through island stages filled with hidden areas and mid-level bosses. The single-player experience focuses on precise jumping and environmental interaction without modern upgrades. This early 2000s fan project gained traction through the Mario Fan Games Galaxy website and later appeared in the FANGAME HELL collection. While not officially licensed, it captures the spirit of the original 1995 SNES title with hand-drawn level design and retro-style difficulty. Community archives show it remains a reference point for later fan developers.
