Yu Gi Oh Online 3 Duel Accelerator is a digital card game that brings the mechanics of the classic franchise to PC players. It lets you build decks from existing cards and new additions introduced in the Yu Gi Oh 5D's anime. Duels unfold in real time with turn based strategy as you play monsters spells and traps to outmaneuver opponents. Online multiplayer was central to the experience though the game relied on active servers to connect with others. The game served as the final major update to the series before Konami shut down its servers permanently on October 1 2012. Players who were active at the time had limited time to enjoy the expanded card pool and 5D's character integrations. While no longer playable online the title remains a snapshot of the franchise's peak digital era.
