Zero Divide 2 is a robot brawler with sharper visuals and faster combat. You control attack programs fighting through data landscapes against rival AI. New characters include a med-tech bot and a pincer-wielding crab mech. Arenas now feature varied layouts like enclosed chambers and low-walled zones that let you chain moves into ring-outs. Matches end quicker and armor systems are easier to dismantle. The game’s 1997 debut introduced fresh strategies with asymmetrical stages and agile combat. Though overshadowed by later titles, its blend of technical depth and quirky robot designs built a cult following. Available across multiple PlayStation platforms, it retains the frantic energy of classic arcade brawlers.

Storyline

XTAL has been defeated and the hackers responsible rounded up. However, the leader of the hackers reveals that the group have also unleashed a second artificial intelligence into the data library, known as EVE. The player must take control of one of EVE's attack programs and use them to destroy the other guard programs and then EVE herself.
