Zoids VS III is a robot shooter where you battle enemies in large open fields. New features include sliding turns and flying units letting you fight in the air. The game supports four-player split-screen with modes like 1 vs 3 2 vs 2 and free-for-all battles. Story Mode and other campaigns offer single-player content while new Zoids and pilots from other series expand the roster. The four-player split-screen is a highlight supporting both humans and bots. Aerial combat and unlockable Zoids from Fuzors and Saga add depth. The Museum Mode lets you view all units a nice touch for collectors. While dated by today's standards it remains a solid choice for robot combat fans.
