"Overall, since the stages are procedurally generated there is a lot of replayability, and the different abilities from the different characters are really nice for keeping you coming back for another serving. The graphics are rather reminiscent of overcooked and the soundtrack is pretty decent. With monster filled levels, the meat of Nom Nom Apocalypse is definitely fighting through the hordes of mutant food monsters and throwing yourself out of the frying pan and into the fire. Facing off against the big bosses are fun, and every run feels a little bit different from the last. Nom Nom Apocalypse is a quirky top-down shooter that, while maybe not going too far outside the box in terms of gameplay, certainly has a delicious draw to it."

You're trapped in a world overrun by the undead. Scavenge for parts to upgrade your gear or spend hard-earned cash on new weapons. The game mixes resource management with real-time combat letting you blast shoot or hack your way through hordes. Each zombie type has different weaknesses so you'll need to adjust tactics on the fly. Customize loadouts with attachments and unlock abilities that let you slow down time or call in explosive traps. The game's appeal comes from its flexibility, play aggressive or methodical. With over 50 weapon mods and 10 special skills it holds up for multiple playthroughs. Released in late 2018 it remains a niche pick for PC players looking for fast action with crafting depth. The lack of multiplayer keeps it simple but the single-player loop of survive-scavenge-upgrade stays satisfying.
