Zombie Blast Crew is a fast paced arcade shooter where you lead a group of survivors fighting to reclaim their overrun city. Each mission throws hordes of varied zombies at you requiring quick reflexes and smart tactics. Choose from characters with distinct playstyles and weapons all offering different ways to tackle waves of the undead. Upgrade gear between missions to handle tougher threats while balancing resource management and positioning. The top down perspective keeps action tight and chaotic as you blast through infected crowds in short bursts of frenetic combat. Set in a block by block warzone the game leans into its B movie charm with a narrative about ragtag civilians turning into amateur soldiers. Developer Vivid Games released it in late 2019 for mobile and Switch giving players a portable option for zombie mayhem. While not a deep strategy title the mix of character customization and escalating difficulty keeps things engaging for arcade fans. The focus on teamwork and quick decisions over grinding makes it a brisk pick up and play option.

Storyline

It has been 11 months since the infection started. Everyone fled the cities, mass panic in the streets. The zombies took over our towns, our buildings, our block. Now we sleep outside while they roam our streets. We waited on the army, and the army didn’t come, so we picked up snaiper guns. We waited on a hero, and a hero didn’t come, so we were left to survive. Now we’re done waiting. Will you lead us in the face of (not really) certain doom? We’ve organized into hunting parties, to take our block back and push the evil residents away. We officially declare that from today onwards, our city is a Zero Z Zone. We’re the Zombie Blast Crew. We crush the infected. Join the team.
