Zombie Revenge throws you into a 3D arena swarming with the undead. Team up with a friend for local co-op or go solo as you punch, kick, and slash through waves of monsters. The game mixes hand-to-hand combat with a variety of weapons letting you switch between melee and ranged attacks to clear each level. Fast paced action and simple controls make it easy to pick up though the relentless hordes keep things intense. The games biggest draw is its two player co-op which adds a layer of chaos as you and a friend tackle hordes together. While the visuals hold up better than many arcade ports the difficulty spikes can be frustrating. Still it’s a solid entry in Segas library for fans of over the top action. The House of the Dead connection is mostly cosmetic so don’t expect crossover characters or story ties.
