Another Indie

United Kingdom Website

At Another Indie we have one goal; to get the best indie games to as many people as humanly possible. We believe that language and geography shouldn’t be an obstacle to gamers who want to enjoy the best that the world has to offer. Whether your game is VR, pixel art, cute, or grim we have a plan to get your game onto a truly global market. We believe that the games industry should not be tethered only to Euro-American consumers and developers so we’ve made it our mission to support developers and gamers from across the world. Developing markets are incredibly lucrative for aspiring indie developers and developers from those markets need help to get their games noticed on the worldwide stage. This is where we can help. We offer developers the tools they need to make their games successful in traditional and non-traditional markets. In our hearts we are gamers, always have been and always will be, and we want to make awesome video games available to everyone. So that’s what we do. What can we do for you?

Another Indie at a Glance

Another Indie is a United Kingdom based publisher that has operated from 2016 through 2021. The company has released 12 titles on PlayPile, all under its own publishing name with no credits as a developer. Their catalog covers a wide range of genres, though they lean heavily toward Adventure and Indie games with 11 titles in each category. They also handle Role-playing games and Platformers frequently, along with smaller numbers of Arcade, Tactical, Strategy, Fighting, Puzzle, and Simulator titles. Almost every game they published is available on PC Microsoft Windows, while Nintendo Switch sees 9 releases. Other platforms like Xbox One, Mac, PlayStation 4, and Linux have fewer than six titles each from this publisher. The quality of their output varies across the board. The average IGDB rating for their nine rated games sits at 65.4 out of 100. This score reflects a mix where eight titles fall into the good range between 60 and 79 points. There are no titles rated as great above 80, one game rated as poor below 40, and none in the mixed category. Their top-rated release is Yuppie Psycho from 2019 with a score of 78.1. Rage In Peace from 2018 follows with 73.8, while Jack Axe and Neverinth: The Never Ending Labyrinth both scored 70. Legrand Legacy from 2018 rounds out the top five with 68 points. Their publishing activity slowed down in later years. They released seven games during the 2010s and only four titles in the 2020s before their active period ended in 2021. Recent releases include Doors of Insanity in February 2021 and Vigil: The Longest Night from October 2020, which scored 63.8. Elden: Path of the Forgotten appeared in July 2020 alongside Jack Axe in April. Neverinth arrived earlier in April 2019 with its 70 point score. While their website states a goal to bring indie games to a global audience and support developers from developing markets, the data shows a limited release schedule over six years. The ratings indicate consistent decent work but a lack of standout critical hits that reach the highest tiers.
