Aqua Pacific operated as a British developer and publisher from 1997 until its closure in January 2008. The Warwickshire-based studio began its life focusing on game conversions before expanding into original development. Their output was heavily concentrated in the early 2000s, with fourteen titles released during that decade compared to just one game in the late 1990s. In total, PlayPile lists fifteen games developed by the company, along with one title they published. The studio had a clear preference for sports titles, which accounted for seven of their releases. Racing games made up three entries, while puzzle and arcade titles rounded out a significant portion of their catalog. They also touched on simulator, strategy, card and board game, and adventure genres with single releases each. Platform support was dominated by the PlayStation 2, which hosted thirteen of their games. A smaller number of titles appeared on PC, the original PlayStation, Game Boy Color, and PlayStation 3. Most of their known works from the end of their run include International Tennis Pro, Hansel & Gretel, Cinderella, Carwash Tycoon, and Fruit Machine Mania. These releases span from mid-2006 through March 2007. The company ceased operations in early 2008, with most of its staff moving to Blitz Games. While the data does not provide specific review scores for every title, their output remained consistent within the sports and racing sectors throughout their active years before the shutdown.
