Former HL mod developers, most known for Half-Life FX and mods on it, today we create our own game engines, and games using them. Our latest game released is Wolfram. Wolfram was developed by a small team. The team's history dates back to the early 2000s and has seen many ups and downs. Currently, the team consists of one person - Alexander Popov (AKA XaeroX), the author of the Volatile game engine iterations, J.A.C.K. lever editor, and the Wolfram code itself, 2D design, some textures and models, and the website. He is also engaged in porting the original levels. However, the development of the game would not have been possible without the help of other people: - Freelanzer (gave permission to use HD textures developed for another remake), - kogemyaka (helped with some prop models), - Scream (helped with the Hans Gross model), - as well as beta testers: Flash, PomanoB, qishmish, Qwertyus and Tualatin. Other contributors to various other Chain Studios projects (e.g. Extrasensoric and Retribution) are: - Alexey Afanasenkov AKA Maulder: Mapping, Design - Yuliya Popova AKA ForestGirl: Design, 2D graphics, Shader Programming, Voice acting - Zimer: Programming, Beta testing - Evgeny Startsev AKA Xepypr: Beta testing - Dr.Bott: Sound and Music
Chain Studios has been active in the gaming industry from 2009 to 2012, with 2 titles tracked on PlayPile. Their catalog primarily spans Indie, Role-playing (RPG), Arcade, with additional titles in Shooter. Their games are available on PC (Microsoft Windows).
