Jonochrome at a Glance

Jonochrome is a solo developer based in the United States who has released twenty games between 2006 and 2021. You might recognize him from his work on Flash game portals under names like JonBro or tehjonbro. His catalog consists almost entirely of indie titles, with nineteen games falling into that category. The vast majority of his work targets the puzzle and point-and-click adventure genres. He released seventeen puzzle games and sixteen point-and-click adventures during his career. Only a small fraction of his output fits into strategy or simulator categories. His platform reach was heavily focused on PC and Mac users. Fourteen of his titles launched on Microsoft Windows, while seven supported Mac systems. He also published seven games for web browsers, which was common for developers in the early part of his career. Mobile support arrived very late with only single releases for Android and iOS. His output grew slowly at first, releasing just three games in the 2000s. The pace picked up in the 2010s with eight titles, and he maintained that level with eight more games in the 2020s. Recent activity shows a clear pattern of remastering older content rather than creating entirely new concepts. His last known releases include One Night at Flumpty's 3 in late 2021. Prior to that, he released several Legacy Editions for his Riddle School and Riddle Transfer series in November 2020. These updates likely brought his classic browser games to modern systems. He remains part of The Fazbear Fanverse Initiative, which links him to the Five Nights at Freddy's community. While he is known for the Riddle School series and One Night at Flumpty's franchise, his overall volume remains modest compared to major studios. Players looking for a wide variety of genres will find very little outside of puzzles and adventure games in his library.
