Madmind Studio at a Glance

Madmind Studio is a Polish company founded in 2016 by Tomasz Dutkiewicz. The team consists of nine veterans who previously worked on major titles like The Division, Witcher 3, and Sniper Ghost Warrior 2. Since starting their own path in 2018, they have released five games in the 2020s and only one game in the 2010s. Their portfolio on PlayPile includes eleven entries, with ten titles listed as both developer and publisher projects. The studio focuses heavily on Adventure games, accounting for ten of their releases, while also touching on Indie, Simulator, Shooter, Strategy, and Real Time Strategy genres. Their platform strategy targets PC users almost exclusively, with ten games available on Microsoft Windows. They have a smaller footprint on consoles and VR, releasing two games on PlayStation 4, one on Xbox One, one on Nintendo Switch, and one on Oculus VR. Despite the experience of their staff, the critical reception for their work has been inconsistent. The average IGDB rating across their two scored titles sits at 51.7 out of 100. Their top-rated game is Succubus from 2021, which holds a score of 60, placing it in the good range. In contrast, their earlier title Agony from 2018 received a score of 43.4, landing it in the mixed category. They have no titles that critics rated as great or poor. The studio has continued to release games up to 2025 with recent entries including Paranoid in December 2023 and Tormentor in December 2025. Their output includes several adult-themed projects such as Nymphomaniac Sex Addict from October 2024 and Succubus Hellish Orgy VR from July 2023. While the studio claims a goal to create visually stunning games with unique atmospheres, their actual ratings suggest a wide range in quality execution. The gap between their high-profile staff background and their current average scores indicates that their output has not consistently matched the expectations set by their team history.
