Magic Rain Studios

Magic Rain Studios is an indie game studio from Barcelona, Spain. Their first game was "Hanasaki Hoverboard”, a mobile game developed for Android. *** About: The studio's co-founders, Ítalo De Jesus Pereira (director) and Yesenia Vázquez Maneiro (art director) met while skateboarding in 2017. In 2020, after leaving their regular jobs, they started creating video games, always with a skateboarding twist in mind. They also love magical worlds and often imagined how amazing it would be to fly on their longboards like magical brooms. This playful idea eventually inspired “ILA: A Frosty Glide”, which began as a series of comics and later transformed into a game during a December 2023 game jam. That game jam also marked the start of the team. Some members met at the jam, while others joined later to help bring the ILA experience to life. Magic Rain Studios' mission is something they feel deeply connected to: crafting games that aren’t just entertaining but also have the power to enrich lives and bring joy to every player.
