Modoyo

We are a new development studio located in one of the world’s most intense game dev locations, Stockholm’s southern island, Sweden. Born from the energetic gaming culture of “Söder”, we all share a rich history of development and play right here. With Modoyo, we want that passion to materialise into awesome games that always puts fun in the driver’s seat. Founded in 2020 by industry veterans, and housing tons of experience from developing huge games like Battlefield, Just Cause, Helldivers, Mirror’s Edge and Star Wars: Battlefront, Modoyo was born from a simple desire to make development culture a foundational pillar. Our name stems from Japanese, referring to “a place where even the masters wipe the floor”, and this is something we live and swear by.
