Movie Games S.A. at a Glance

Movie Games S.A. is a Polish company founded in 2014 that operates as both a developer and publisher. While their official bio claims a mission to deliver world-class entertainment with meaningful stories, the actual data on PlayPile suggests a more modest reality. They have released 20 games under their own name since becoming active in 2018. Their output grew significantly from four titles in the 2010s to twelve games in the 2020s. The company currently has over one hundred employees and is developing ten additional projects ranging from history-based simulations to horror games. The vast majority of their library targets PC users, with nineteen out of twenty releases available on Microsoft Windows. They also support PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch with five titles each. Their genre focus leans heavily toward simulation, adventure, and indie categories. Specifically, thirteen games fall under the Adventure tag, thirteen are classified as Indie, and eleven are Simulators. They have also touched Puzzle, Role-playing, Racing, Sport, Strategy, Shooter, and Tactical genres, though often with very few entries in those areas. Quality control appears inconsistent across their portfolio. Their average IGDB rating sits at 68.6 out of 100 based on seven rated titles. There are no games that achieved a great score above 80. The bulk of their recognized work falls into the good range between 60 and 79, while one title received a mixed rating below 60. Their highest-rated game is The Beast Inside from 2019, which scored 78.7. Other notable entries include Gas Station Simulator (72.6) and Food Truck Simulator (72). Recent releases show a dip in scores, with Plane Mechanic Simulator landing at 60. Titles like Drug Dealer Simulator 2 and Alaskan Road Truckers: Highway Edition continue to appear in their recent lineup for 2024 and 2025, keeping the company active through the current year.
