This was the software division of film studio Orion Pictures Corporation, formed in 1996 after parent company Metromedia acquired the Motion Picture Corporation of America, whose software division was then renamed to Orion Interactive. In 1997, after Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer acquired Orion Pictures, the company was folded into MGM Interactive.
