Pennyvale Media

Pennyvale Media was founded in the United Kingdom primarily to act as publisher of Harrowed World works by its creator Alex Burton. In 2022, Pennyvale Media would begin developing the vampire RPG ‘Harrowed World: Portents In Red’, then under the working title ‘Project Nightowl’. Work on the RPG continues in the background while the focus remains on other projects. In late 2023, Pennyvale Media began work on ‘Harrowed World: What’s Past Is Portents’, the dark gothic vampire visual novel, as a precursor to ‘Harrowed World: Portents In Red’. It was quickly decided that the visual novel would consist of several shorter narratives featuring distinct characters and locations rather than one long tale, with each story focusing on a single prominent character that would feature in the RPG. The focus of Pennyvale Media has always been creating unforgettable stories, with video games serving as a unique avenue for storytelling with its own distinct challenges and rewards.
