Universal Interactive was the former game division of movie studio Universal Studios, originally formed in 1994 as Universal Interactive Studios. In 2001, the company became a part of Vivendi Universal, after Vivendi acquired the film studio from Seagram; it would operate concurrently with the Vivendi Universal Games label until being merged into it in 2004.
